Introduction

The Central Board of Secondary Education that is CBSE conducts the CBSE 10th and 12th examinations every year. The CBSE 10th and 12th examinations on the year 2021 will be conducted between the year May 4 and June 11, 2021. The delay at the beginning of the session is because of the ongoing COVID19 pandemic situations. The Central Board of Secondary Education date sheet for the theoretical exams has been released on the month of February 2.

The admit cards will be made available to students for a duration of 10 to 15 days before the examinations. The CBSE 10th examination 2021 is scheduled between May 4 and June 7. But CBSE 12th exams 2201 are to be held between May 4 and June 11. The Board will conduct the CBSE practical exams in the year 2021 from the month of March 1.

Due to the pandemic and resulting due to lockdowns. The academic session of the year 2020 to 2021 started late. It is being conducted online. In view of this, the Board had decided to reduce the CBSE syllabus for the year 2021 for Classes 10th and 12th by 30 percent. The CBSE Result 2021 for the 10th and 12th will be released by the month of July 15.

Last year, CBSE class 10th exams were scheduled from the month of February 15 till March 2020. But CBSE class 12th exams 2020 were scheduled between the months of February 15 and March 30. For Class 12th, a total of 105847 students appeared for the Compartment examinations of which 62904 students were cleared. The overall pass percentage was 59.43.
