Call Of Duty Cold War Black Frida- Launched This Year

Call Of Duty Cold War Black Friday: Because it was launched so close to Black Friday, I wasn’t anticipating any offers on Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War this year, but there does look to be one modest deal available.

It’s only a good offer if you already own an Xbox Series X, but if you do, you can cut a few dollars off the $70 price tag and get a great value. This deal appeared unexpectedly, but you can find it here:

Target has a Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Cross-Gen Bundle for $59.99

I believe a price-matching bot picked up on this, because the same item is now available for 1 cent less at Walmart:

This is only a good offer if you buy the Xbox Series X edition of the game.

Game publishers are slowly raising the price of new games to $70, and the cross-gen edition of Cold War is usually available for that slightly higher price.

Should you purchase it? Sure! After all, it’s Call of Duty, so you pretty much know what you’re getting.

On top of a tonne of multiplayer and zombies content that will continue to evolve over the course of the year, it’s a pulpy, generally amusing campaign that looks beautiful on new consoles.

I’ve been playing it on PS5, where the game’s significant use of adaptable triggers and haptic feedback transforms the experience of playing a first-person shooter in ways I didn’t expect. Which is, I think, a minor point here.

So, if you’re looking for a multiplayer game to play throughout the impending cold months, this is a good option.

And if you’re going to buy it, you can’t go wrong with a $10 discount. Because the game came out later than usual.

The discount schedule is all jumbled up, but if you’re on the fence about waiting, I’d anticipate it to go down a little bit in the winter as well.
