He attended Guntur Hindu College for his undergraduate studies before graduating with a BSc from Andhra Christian College of Andhra University.

At Madras’ Vauhini Studios, where his father was a partner, K Viswanath started his career as a sound recordist.

If we discuss his career, he began as the Telugu-Tamil movie Pathala Bhairavi’s assistant director.

He made his directing debut with the Telugu movie Aatma Gowravam, which went on to win the Nandi Award for the year’s best feature film.

The director went on to produce drama movies like Chelleli Kapuram, Sarada, O Seeta Katha, and Jeevana Jyoti.
