Lori Loughlin’s Los Angeles home was robbed of $1 million in jewellery.

Masked burglars allegedly stole actress Lori Loughlin’s Los Angeles house of $1 million in jewellery shortly after the new year, making her the latest high-profile victim of unregulated crime in the Democrat-controlled city.

The couple was not at home when the robbery occurred, and their housekeeper was apparently the one who discovered the break-in.

Based on footage from the house’s CCTV cameras, law enforcement told TMZ that the robbers, who were dressed in all black and wearing masks, smashed a bedroom window.

The burglars took Loughlin’s jewellery box once they were inside the residence.

According to TMZ, police believe the theft was carried out by a South American burglary squad who go to the United States, strike targets, and then flee the country.

Authorities say they don’t know if Loughlin and Giannulli were targeted directly or if the event was a random break-in.

The robbery happened less than a week before Loughlin’s friend and Full House co-star Bob Saget passed away.

Loughlin‘s agent told TMZ that the actress is grateful no one was wounded, and that Saget’s death has helped her put the incident into perspective.

According to TMZ, “she says the most important thing in life is family and love, not financial things.”

Crime is on the rise in Los Angeles, thanks in part to District Attorney George Gascón’s drastically permissive policies, which were aided by millions of money from left-wing billionaire George Soros when he stood for office.

The Beverly Hills City Council overwhelmingly opted to endorse a recall movement to remove Gascón just days after Loughlin’s home was robbed.

Loughlin recently made headlines for her involvement in a bribery case involving college admissions.

Her husband was sentenced to five months in prison after being convicted of paying half a million dollars to assure their daughters’ acceptance to the University of Southern California.
