Louis Jude Ferrigno Sr. was conceived in Brooklyn, New York on November 9, 1951 to Victoria Ferrigno and Matt Ferrigno. He is of Italian descent. His speech impairment and hearing impairment were a source of bullying.
It wasn’t discovered until he was just three years old. Ferrigno was driven to be a hero and had a strong desire for power. He started weight training at the age of 13 with Steve Reeves, who is one of his role models.
