There’s also swearing, obscenity, and jokes about religion, disability, alcohol intake, drug abuse, and racial discrimination. You will also find a lot of urine, feces, and semen jokes.

Requiem for a Dream

Darren Aronofsky directed and wrote Requiem for a Dream. It is a disturbing movie about four people dependent on drugs.

It was released twenty years ago this fall. It is still one of the most significant movies of the 2000s.

The movie follows Sara Goldfarb (Ellen Burstyn), Harry Green, Marion Connelly, and Tyrone McCall. All of them have dreams and hopes.

Each person’s life is affected by drug addiction. This movie will remain with you for all time.

It’s powerful and moving. The soundtrack is by Clint Mansell and the Kronos Quartet.

G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra

A live-action GI Joe movie has been in the works for years. Although it was a challenging project, it is finally on the big screen.

Marlon Wayans directed the movie. It follows the lives and struggles of the team as they fight an evil arms dealer and other bad guys who threaten to destroy the world.

Although the movie’s action may seem sloppy and boring, it is still well-shot and exciting.

Although it gets a bit tedious toward the end, it’s still one of this summer’s most entertaining action movies.

Haunted House

They expect to be able to focus on their relationship and the good things in this life.

After experiencing strange sensations, they soon realize they are experiencing paranormal phenomena.

Michael Tiddes directs A Haunted House. This comedy parody targets Paranormal Activity as well as found-footage horror.

It may sometimes seem a little crude, but it has some genuine laughs. Wayans puts on one of his most hilarious performances in many years.

The Heat

Paul Feig directed The Heat. It was a massive hit with Bridesmaids two summers ago.

The comedy is about mismatched cops and features Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy as well as their funny friendship.

Although the plot could be much better, their chemistry will keep you entertained.

The film follows Sarah Ashburn, an FBI agent (Sandra Bullock), and Shannon Mullins, a Boston detective (Melissa McCarthy), who are opposites but join forces to defeat a mysterious drug kingpin.

They must learn to work together or risk being ridiculed for their initial distrust.
