Piers Morgan called Wednesday night’s Uncensored broadcast a “really fun night” and called his on-air argument with Conservative MP James Duddridge his “favorite TV encounter.”

After the Rochford and Southend minister asserted that his “wife would divorce him if he answered questions” from the presenter, Piers of GB News and the minister came to blows.

When asked by Piers how long Boris Johnson could be prime minister despite 42 MPs resigning in the span of two days, Mr. Duddridge told the journalist Kate McCann that he would only answer questions from her.

After Kate rephrased the question, Piers responded and referred to the MP as “Comical Ali”—a moniker given to former Iraqi politician Mohammed Saeed al-Sahhaf for his colorful TV appearances.

I’ve had Piers in my ear, the MP responded. He is the only one who is funny. He needs to stop bothering my ears. I will only answer to Kate because I love her. It’s terrible TV, in my opinion.

The MP removed his earpiece and left the camera as Piers replied by calling him a twerp who “everyone is laughing at.”

“Hold on, A – who is he?,” Piers teased back in the studio. And B—how could he be so impolite? I haven’t ever met the man. He is who?

The 57-year-old then requested Kate to inquire with the MP on his wife’s availability to appear on Thursday’s show.

On Twitter, admirers of Piers shared their joy with the conversation. One fan wrote: “Another great show, right to the point. That most recent interview was excellent. While I’m fishing in the North Sea, you made my night!
