When Sasha Lane was a child, her parents split, and she moved in with her mother. She used to work as a waitress to help support her mother financially. She enrolled at Texas State University, but dropped out to pursue a career in movies.

She made her acting debut in Andrea Arnold’s film American Honey in 2016, after much hardship. In 2018, she starred in The Miseducation of Cameron Post, a British-American film. Her performance in the film was appreciated, and she began to receive more offers as a result of it.

She appeared in two more films that year, including Hearts Beat Loud and After Everything. These films did not have the same level of success as her earlier ones.

Her performance, on the other hand, was lauded. Daniel Isn’t Real and Hell Boy were both released in 2019. Hell Boy received mixed reviews upon its release and performed admirably at the box office.
